Mr. McDonald received his B.S. degree with high distinction from Ferris State University before graduating from the Detroit College of Law, where he was an Editor on the Law Review and a published author. He is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.

Mr. McDonald has over 25 years experience in the area of workers’ disability compensation, Michigan No-Fault litigation, casualty, property, arson and fraud defense. Mr. McDonald has extensive trial experience at the administrative, state and federal levels. He previously served as a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Muskegon County. He has also handled appellate matters up to the Federal Circuit Court and Michigan Supreme Court levels.
