
Patrick A. Beatty Patrick A. Beatty – earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing with honors from Michigan State University in 1999. Upon graduation, Patrick traveled the deep south as a consultant for his undergraduate fraternity. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2004.
Patrick attended Cooley Law School as an Honor’s Scholar and was on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. He was a valued member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, where he earned the John D. Voelker Award for significant contribution by an associate editor. Patrick worked as a Grade Appeals Magistrate and later was a member of the Grade Appeals Board where he received the Earl Dayton Award in recognition of dedication to the Board. He was awarded the Certificate of Merit in a number of courses.
Patrick joined the law firm of Bleakley, Cypher, Parent, Warren & Quinn in November of 2004. He is admitted to practice law in all Michigan Courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Michigan Bar Association (workers’ compensation section). Patrick is active in the Grand Rapids Adjuster’s Association, serving as treasurer for the 2006-2007 year. Patrick is also a member of the West Michigan MSU Alumni Club and the Grand Rapids Young Professionals.
Patrick enjoys reading, tennis, swimming and spending time with his friends and family.
