Steven C. Highfield received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University in 2007. While at MSU, Steve worked as a reporter at The State News, the university's student newspaper.

Steve received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law (magna cum laude) in 2010, where he served as an associate editor on the DePaul Law Review. He also wrote an article that was published in the DePaul Law Review.

Steve joined Bleakley, Cypher, Parent, Warren & Quinn in August of 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Steve clerked at a medical malpractice firm in Chicago. He also clerked for Judge Ronald A. Guman in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Steve is a member of the Michigan Bar Association (workers' compensation section), as well as the Illinois Bar Association.
